ACPA has Announced their Newest Advisory Board MemberApril 28, 2021 The American College of Physician Advisors has announced their newest Advisory Board Member: Sue Erwin DNP, RN, MHA, CMAC, ACM-RN. Dr. Erwin is the Associate Vice President for Care Coordination at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC. “We are excited to announce that Dr. Erwin has joined the ACPA Advisory Board,” said Advisory Board Chair Jessica Gustafson, Esq. “Dr. Erwin has an impressive breadth of experience serving as a nationally-recognized case management consultant. These experiences provide her with a unique perspective that will be an asset to the Advisory Board and to the ACPA.” Dr. Erwin has 39 years of experience as a dynamic healthcare leader and Registered Nurse. She earned her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from The Penn State University and earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Capella University. Prior to her current position, Dr. Erwin was a Senior Executive Consultant for Case Management to hospitals across the United States. Dr. Erwin has been a member of the American College of Physician Advisors since its inception and has been a member of the American Case Management Association (ACMA) since 2009 and holds a Certificate in Long Term Care from Penn State, is an accredited case Manager (ACM-RN) and holds her Case Manager Administrator Certification (CMAC). “I am honored to be selected for the opportunity to serve on the Advisory Board of the American College of Physician Advisors,” said Dr. Erwin. “Case Management has been my passion for the past fifteen years and with my vast consulting experience and current Academic Medical Center experience I hope to contribute to the Advisory Board in a tangible manner to improve Case Management practice on a national level.” About: The American College of Physician Advisors is the national organization dedicated to “promoting and expanding the prominent role of the Physician Advisor in today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment through education, certification, mentorship and collaboration.” |
