Apply Today to Be a Member of an ACPA Committee



Thank you for your interest in becoming an ACPA committee member. ACPA committees are essential to delivering subject-based content to the physician advisor community. As a committee member, you will help shape the resources physician advisors use in their daily work and serve as a subject-matter expert within the scope of the committee's realm.

Requirements for Becoming a Committee Member

Applicants must:

  1. Have worked in the physician advisor space for at least 2 years.
  2. Be a current ACPA member and have maintained membership for at least 1 year.
  3. Fill out the Committee Application by clicking the link below.
    1. Choose to apply to one of the four current committees: CDI, Government Affairs, Pediatrics, or Utilization Management Operations. If you decide to change which committee you would like to be considered for, you can withdraw your current application by contacting Courtney Helton at [email protected]. Once your application has been withdrawn, you can submit a new application for the committee of your choice. Applications to multiple committees will not be considered.
    2. Submit your current CV.
    3. Submit a letter of interest, focusing on how your experience will help to forward the committee.
  4. As a committee member, you will be required to maintain your ACPA membership and agree to be pictured and listed on the committee's webpage.

Applications are forwarded to the committees' leadership quarterly, and you will be contacted by the committee chair directly if you are being considered for membership in the committee. However, many of our committees are currently full and are not accepting new members. If a committee you applied to is full, your application will be placed on a waitlist and shared once the committee begins accepting new applicants. All applications are voided on December 31st of the current year. If you have applied to a committee and have not been contacted by December 31st, we encourage you to reapply.
