What started as the Southeast Physician Advisor Symposium (SEPAS) has morphed into the National Physician Advisor Conference (NPAC), fully endorsed and promoted by the American College of Physician Advisors (ACPA). We are excited to announce that our next conference will be held March 11-13 2019 in Atlanta at the Buckhead Hyatt, 3300 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA.
Our new location was chosen to meet the requests of the attendees to allow more efficient access to the conference site. With multiple flight options to Atlanta, attendees can now fully participate in every session and all opportunities to network and learn about this expanding profession.
Though the location has changed, the richness and depth of the presentations will maintain the high standard of educational excellence this conference has developed over the years. We will continue the famed “Best Practice Breakfast” sessions as well as the popular “Dine with the Docs” evenings to promote deeper dives of discussion with nationally acclaimed thought leaders.
Drs. Juliet B. Ugarte Hopkins and Pooja Nagpal are joining Dr. E.G. "Nick" Ulmer, Jr. on the CME Planning Committee this year and they are putting the final touches on what is shaping up to be another outstanding educational offering.
NPAC 2019 will focus on Bridging the Gap Between Confusion and Clarity in Healthcare. Our faculty will strive to show the many ways that we can contribute across the spectrum of healthcare delivery. In fulfillment of our task of education for today’s Physician Advisor, we will offer dedicated sessions for those who are new to the profession. Additionally, there will be sessions to cover the current regulatory environment, topics on revenue cycle, optimal status determination, care coordination, documentation improvement, appeals/denials management, and much, much more. We are confident that the post reviews for NPAC 2019 will once again rate this as the “must attend conference” for Physician Advisors.
